About This Destination

Exploring Farther Destinations

For guests seeking something truly extraordinary, our longer-range cruising routes open the door to some of the most beautiful and culturally rich islands in the Gulf of Thailand. These destinations are ideal for multi-day luxury yacht charters, combining dramatic scenery, authentic Thai culture, world-class diving, and secluded beaches far beyond the reach of typical day tours.

Koh Si Chang — An Island Rich in History

Located just 12 km offshore from Sri Racha and approximately 30 km north of Pattaya, Koh Si Chang is a captivating island of roughly 8 square kilometers with a permanent population of about 5,000 residents. Unlike many resort islands, Koh Si Chang offers something deeper — a fascinating blend of history, culture, and coastal beauty.

The island is steeped in heritage, home to historic temples and the evocative remains of a royal palace, abandoned in 1893 during the French occupation related to territorial disputes over Laos. These historical landmarks, combined with peaceful villages and scenic viewpoints, make Koh Si Chang a rewarding destination for exploration.

While its beaches are more modest than those of Koh Samet or Koh Chang, the island’s charm lies in its dramatic coastal walks, lush hillsides, and relaxed pace of life. The surrounding waters offer excellent conditions for sea kayaking, swimming, snorkeling, and fishing. With fresh seafood served daily at excellent local prices and far fewer Western tourists, Koh Si Chang provides a rare opportunity to experience authentic Thai island life.

Koh Samae San — Five Beaches, One Island

Located approximately 40 km south of Pattaya, Koh Samae San is one of the region’s most breathtaking hidden gems. Five pristine beaches are scattered among steep green mountains, each more beautiful than the last. Among them, Hat Luk Lom stands out — a spectacular stretch of powder-soft white sand and crystal-clear blue water, reminiscent of the legendary beaches of Koh Phi Phi.

The surrounding waters form part of a vibrant marine ecosystem ideal for scuba diving and snorkeling. Both hard and soft corals thrive here alongside abundant marine life including sea turtles, barracudas, yellowtail fusiliers, blue-spotted stingrays, moray eels, angel fish, and butterfly fish.

For advanced divers, the Harddeep shipwreck, resting on its starboard side at a depth of around 25 meters, offers a thrilling and memorable dive experience.

Facilities on Koh Samae San are intentionally minimal — a few shelters, deck chairs, and the untouched beach itself — allowing nature to take center stage and creating an atmosphere of pure escape.

Koh Samet — Vibrant Yet Relaxed

Situated 85 km south of Pattaya, Koh Samet is perfectly suited for a three-day luxury yacht charter. This narrow island of just 13 square kilometers is famous for its powder-white beaches, clear turquoise waters, and lush tropical interior. Thanks to its unique micro-climate, Koh Samet is also the driest region in Thailand, offering excellent weather year-round.

The island strikes a beautiful balance between relaxation and energy. By day, guests enjoy beach lounging, swimming, and jungle exploration. By night, Koh Samet comes alive with beach bars, fire shows, and lively yet laid-back nightlife. Despite its modern resorts, spas, and gourmet restaurants, Koh Samet retains a natural charm — remarkably, not a single paved road exists on the island.

Transportation is simple and adventurous: walking, mountain bikes, ATVs, and off-road scooters weave through sand tracks beneath the palms.

Koh Chang — Thailand’s Crown Jewel

Known as “Elephant Island”, Koh Chang is Thailand’s second-largest island and the heart of the Koh Chang National Marine Park, a protected region of over 650 square kilometers comprising 52 islands, most of them untouched and deserted.

This marine sanctuary is a world-class destination for scuba diving, snorkeling, and island exploration, with thriving coral reefs and exceptional water clarity. Koh Chang itself is home to about 5,000 residents and remains refreshingly undeveloped compared to many Thai islands.

White-sand beaches line its western coast, backed by dense jungle, waterfalls, and mountainous interior landscapes. These elements combine to create what many consider Thailand’s most beautiful island.

Located just 260 km south of Pattaya, Koh Chang is perfectly suited for an extended yacht voyage. There is no better way to explore this extraordinary marine park than on a multi-day private yacht charter — and our Mabilia Motor Yacht is purpose-built for exactly that kind of adventure.

Voices from the Water

From the moment we stepped on board, every detail was taken care of. The crew was attentive, the yacht was spotless, and the route around the islands was breathtaking. This was hands down the best day of our Thailand trip.

We booked a sunset cruise for our anniversary and it exceeded every expectation. The captain knew exactly where to anchor for the best views, and the onboard catering was restaurant quality. Truly unforgettable.
